The Ball Fireman Victory NM2098C-S28J-IBER pairs a soft ice blue dial with Ball's rainbow micro gas tube treatment, so the watch reads one way by day and quite another after dark.
A 40mm stainless steel case stands 11.3mm tall and sits comfortably across a 48.5mm lug span, with an anti-reflective sapphire crystal over hours, minutes, sweep seconds and date. The automatic BALL RR1103 calibre is rated to 5,000 Gs of shock resistance and 4,800 A/m of magnetic resistance, with 100 metres of water resistance behind a screwed-in crown. Fourteen micro gas tubes glow continuously. Finished on a stainless steel bracelet with folding buckle, it is an easy-wearing men's watch.

The standard of the railroads
In 1891 Webb C. Ball was appointed Chief Inspector for the Lake Shore Lines. His inspection system set the standard for the railroads.
Self-powered light
Self-powered micro gas tubes light the dial, with no need to charge them in the light.
Wound by your wrist
After an initial wind by hand, the automatic movement keeps itself wound with the natural motion of your wrist.

Every BALL watch from Watch Direct comes with a 4-year international manufacturer’s warranty.
Watch Direct is an authorised BALL retailer, trading since 2011.

About Ball
Ball traces its roots to Ohio's railroads. After the Great Kipton train wreck of April 1891, jeweller Webb C. Ball was appointed Chief Time Inspector, and his strict inspection standards reshaped American railroad timekeeping. The Webb C. Ball Watch Company was formed in 1894 to distribute railroad watches, and in 2001 Ball introduced the first mechanical watch lit by micro gas tubes.
