A robust stainless steel case, 4.4 cm diameter and 1.28 cm thick, is topped by a sapphire crystal and a blue gradient dial that fades from ocean blue to deep black with a wave texture. Lumibrite hands and baton markers deliver clear legibility in all conditions, complemented by a one-way bezel and screw-down crown for reliability up to 200 metres. The soft blue silicone strap measures 22 cm, securing comfort on long excursions. Inside, Calibre 4R35 automatic movement powers the date function, finished in a premium Seiko box.

About Seiko
Seiko began in 1881, when 21-year-old Kintaro Hattori opened a shop selling and repairing watches and clocks in Tokyo, moving it to Ginza in 1887. In 1892 he founded the Seikosha factory, and in 1924 the first watch to carry the Seiko name was released. On 25 December 1969 Seiko launched the Quartz Astron, the world's first quartz wristwatch.
