A faithful reissue of a 1960s original, the Timex Marlin 1965 TW2R47900 is a men's watch built for anyone who appreciates the quiet pleasure of winding a watch by hand.
The polished 34 mm stainless steel case carries a silver-tone dial beneath a domed acrylic crystal, and a crocodile-embossed black leather strap on quick-release spring bars completes the mid-century silhouette. Inside, a mechanical hand-wound movement offers roughly forty hours of power reserve, and the case is water resistant to 30 metres. Slim, understated and unmistakably vintage, it remains the gentleman's standard.

About Timex
Timex began in 1854 as the Waterbury Clock Company in Connecticut's Brass City, setting out to take timekeeping beyond the mantels of the wealthy. It went on to offer the first $1 pocket watch. In the 1960s Timex showed how tough its watches were in a series of live, televised torture tests.
