The Timex 1976 Lexington TW2Y88200 revives the understated elegance of seventies dress watches in a slim rectangular form. The 21mm stainless steel case is polished to a soft shine and measures just 8.5mm deep, with a 36mm lug-to-lug span that sits neatly on a narrow wrist. Vertical brushing sweeps across the silver-tone dial beneath elongated Roman numerals, protected by a slightly raised mineral glass with a gentle curve. A quartz movement keeps it accurate and it is water resistant to 30 metres. Natural crocodile-grain leather in brown, 18mm wide with quick-release spring bars, completes a quietly refined everyday watch.
