Beautifully presented watch. Highly polished hardware, elegant slightly bowl shaped case... the "dusk blue" is a tone down from "baby blue" so do no think the watch face is going to look somehow lightweight or washed out. Good contrast between the red second hand and the blue face... I found it difficult to choose between the similar model with the pink face, but decided that the extra contrast achieved with the red on blue was the way to go. Very fine mesh band conforms well to my wrist. And as I have a relatively thin wrist, this size watch (35mm) really works for me. If you are considering a Mondaine watch, for your own benefit, do have a close look at the more classic Mondaine watches with a white face, black hour markers, black hands, red second hand. These are absolute classics of Bauhaus design, and are very easy to read. I now have a few Mondaine watches and find them of high build quality and totally reliable. I have had no issues with any of them. Buy one!
