Exquisite Design
At the heart of this timepiece is a meticulously polished metal body from the thin G-SHOCK 2100 series. The complex, intricately designed bezel consists of 27 highly polished parts, lending an air of unmatched quality and detail to the watch.
The front of the bezel is constructed from COBARION, which boasts a hardness approximately four times that of pure titanium. This material also emits a luster akin to platinum, adding to the watch's premium appeal.
Durable Construction
Equipped with a multi-guard structure, the timepiece offers enhanced durability by providing buffers between the numerous bezel parts. Adding to its sturdiness, the band is made from DAT55G, a titanium alloy renowned for its hardness and excellent workability.
The case and bezel, made from Ti64, another titanium alloy, are not only tough but also provide a beautiful mirror surface that is scratch-resistant. The shimmering black surfaces of the MRG-B2100B are polished to a mirror finish and then given a diamond-like carbon (DLC) coating, amplifying its distinguished look.
Inspired by Tradition
The timepiece's design draws inspiration from kigumi, a traditional Japanese wood assembly and lattice-making technique. Its hour markers are created by combining two parts on the face, and the three-dimensional lattice-like dial is made possible by high-precision micro-fabrication techniques.
