Heavy Weight
For my occasional timing requirements I wanted a watch with a "60 min " moveable bezel. This fits the bill. It is also rather conservative in its styling... not too busy with additional dials and counters etc which a lot of watch seem to have. That suits me.
On receipt of the watch I was a little disappointed that bezel has a very shiny almost chrome finish, and the watch body itself, stainless steel, is also highly polished. To my eye it looked a little cheap. It is also quite thick, and heavy. Noticeably heavy. Now if I'd read the write up I'd have seen that !
The Milan style band is good quality, not as elegant or flexible, as you find on European watches, but entirely adequate. Note when unlatched, ends are separate, not joined by a second joint to prevent the unlatched watch falling off your wrist.
Automatic watches like this need to be regularly set. They generally can not keep time to the precision of a quartz movement. However my Seiko seems to be accurate! I've had it on over a month and haven't had to adjust the time. Amazing.
Overall I'd happily recommend this watch to a friend, given they could feel and see it first hand. It feels well built and solid! Watch Direct photography does attempt to capture the detail of the watch realistically. Full marks. I could have observed my critical points from the photos and speciations provided. And I would still buy this watch.
